A long-time Rotarian, Peter was a very active member of the community, also greatly contributing to Lethbridge’s art community. In addition to his photography work, Peter served in a number of positions on the board of the Southern Alberta Art Gallery Association, as a board member of the Alberta Foundation for the Performing Arts (now part of the Alberta Foundation for the Arts) and a member of the Board of Governors at the Banff Centre. He also served on the juries for exhibitions of the Lethbridge Camera Club, the Southern Alberta Nature Art Show, Toronto Camera Club and the South Peel Camera Club in Ontario. Peter’s photographs have been shown throughout Alberta and in Toronto. Some of his photographs are held in the collections of the Alberta Foundation for the Arts and the Royal Trust, as well as a number of private collections. Peter passed away in 2013; he was 84.
