Liz Ingram grew up in New Delhi, Bombay, and Toronto. She received her BA in Fine Arts from York University in Toronto in 1972, and her Masters of Visual Arts from the University of Alberta in 1975, and has been teaching for 30 years at the University of Alberta. Ingram has exhibited in more than 20 solo and duo exhibitions and more than 200 group exhibitions worldwide. Her current work focuses on the theme of water, and incorporates techniques including etching, photo intaglio, digital media, installation, and sound. Ingram lives in Edmonton with her husband and two children.
