| ARTIST BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH: | Wes Bell was born and raised in Medicine Hat, Alberta, and from an early age was fascinated by art. This led Bell to the studio-intensive program at the Alberta College of Art where he received a Diploma in Visual Communications - Photography. Through his continued studies of the History of Photography, Bell later received his BFA in Photography from the Alberta University of the Arts. Bell pursued a career in fashion photography, living and working in Milan, London, and New York. In 2014, Bell returned to Alberta, and is currently focusing on art photography, deploying his square medium format film camera, photographing outdoors on location.
