| ARTIST BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH: | David Miller’s artworks have been presented across Canada and internationally in over 150 exhibitions, as performances, in publications, and contextually as works in public spaces. Notable exhibitions include Labyrinth of Things at Josef Sudek Atelier Gallery and Sol’s Light at Communication Space Skolska in Prague; Das Spydermann at L.A.C.E. in Los Angeles; Small World at the Stadtmuseum in Münster, Germany; Execution at W139 in Amsterdam; Markado at Centro de la Imagen in Mexico City; and Collecting Shadows at PlugIn ICA in Winnipeg. Miller studied at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, Emily Carr University of Art + Design, Sheridan College of Art and Technology, and Simon Fraser University’s Institute for Contemporary Art, among others. He has received numerous awards and distinctions, including the Canada Council Photography Prize.
Miller’s teaching practice and mentorship continue to influence generations of artists in Canada, Mexico, and Europe. Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor of Art in Lethbridge.
