Help - Object Number

The object number is a unique identifying number assigned to records held by the Provincial Archives of Alberta. Numbers begin with either PR or GR, to denote Private Records (PR) or Government Records (GR). This field also searches the accession number if known.

An F at the end of the object number indicates these records, or some of these records, are subject to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIP) Act. Please contact the reference desk at (780) 427-1056 for more information.
