| SCOPE AND CONTENT: | The series consists of correspondence, background and supporting documentation, briefings, itineraries, invitations and RSVPs, seating plans, speaking notes, programs, letters of appreciation, biographies, guest lists, news releases, and catering arrangements pertaining to the Protocol Office and its coordination of special events, ceremonies, and visits to Alberta by royalty, foreign dignitaries and delegations. The series also includes records pertaining to the operations of Government House and to meetings with local Consular representatives. The series also includes files related to the planning of the Canadian centennial celebrations in Alberta in 1967. |
