The Provincial Archives of Alberta holds marriage registration records for some communities in Alberta for the time period ca. 1870 – 1980. Post-1905 records are not indexed; they area arranged by community and then by date. Therefore to locate a specific individual, it would be necessary to know both where in Alberta and approximately when someone was married.
