There exists a published catalogue for the auction sale of the contents of Government House in 1942 (GR1988.0285/GSE). This catalogue lists various paintings and prints, but it does not consistently identify the artist or the subject matter. I did not see any references to a print by Fred Thomas Smith, or one depicting lions.
