Question Number 394

Are there archival records existing in AB Archives, of Alberta school districts and their distict numbers from the early to mid 20th century?

It was unclear from your inquiry what specific types of records you are seeking.

For most School Districts, the Provincial Archives of Alberta holds administrative correspondence (dealing with things like finance and school buildings). For some School Districts, additional records such as minute books, financial records, and occasionally attendance registers are available.

Many other archives and museums across Alberta also hold School District records for their local area or community.
