Where a finding aid or file list is not available for a particular fonds, it would be necessary to actually review the records to determine what series/files are included.

Note that in some cases there may exist a rough, handwritten box or file list from the creator of the fonds; this is particularly the case with Government records. Where they exist, these rough lists are only available on-site.
