Thank you very much for your inquiry into the photo holdings on the Provincial Archives web application. Presently our web holdings total 2745 photographs that are a selection of photographs from the collections of the five most commonly used photographers at the Provincial Archives (Ernest Brown, Harry Pollard, Charles Lee, William Irvine and Nicholas Gavinchuk). Additionally, we are presently adding the photographs of our miscellaneous “A” collection to our web holdings on a daily basis. While this is only a sliver of our total holdings it is a start and over time will continue to grow. It should also be noted that HeRMIS also includes our library catalogue and the majority of our private records descriptions.
