Arseneault was the director of Stride Gallery from 1999 to 2001, and she has served on several boards and committees in Calgary, where she now lives.
Arseneault is a recipient of the 2008 Lieutenant Governor’s Emerging Artist Award. Her work includes installation, drawing, sculpture and video and often incorporates a performance element. Her art frequently deals with subjective ideas about emotion, fear, failure and humour. In 2005, Arseneault wrote and published a one-act play entitled Monsterdom. In 2011, she and Paul Jackson won an Alberta Foundation for the Arts (AFA) / Art Gallery of Alberta (AGA) Sculpture Commission; their project, “Hunting Blind,” sits on the rooftop terrace of the AGA, where it will remain for five years before becoming a part of the permanent collection of the AFA.
