| SCOPE AND CONTENT: | The series consists of records from the Health and Social Service Programs Branch, whose mandate was for the coordination and allocation of new training programs for the health and social service sector. The Branch worked closely with educational institutions to review new programs in the vocational, technical, college and university sectors.
This series consists of subject files on topics of interest to the program including disabilities, various medical practitioners, early childhood services and daycare, fitness and wellness.
As well there are files that document health and social service programming at specific institutions across Alberta, including Alberta Vocational Centres, colleges, universities, and technical institutes.
