| SCOPE AND CONTENT: | The series consists of records from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology whose mandate was to provide a wide variety of post-secondary training to prepare students for careers and to assist in meeting the skilled manpower requirements of industry and business in the Province.
This series contains photographs, negatives, slides, related clippings, and photograph albums relating to the day-to-day activities and operations of the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. The photos, negatives and slides and clippings illustrate:
-classrooms, classes in progress and special class activities,
-athletics,
-the Institute's physical plant,
-aerial views of the campus,
-yearbook photos, staff, class and student photos,
-graduations and closing exercises,
-banquets, guests and guest speakers at the Institute,
-the arts, and
-student extracurricular activities.
Photo albums document individual departments of the Institute.
