| SCOPE AND CONTENT: | The series consists of records from the Field Services Division, whose mandate was to provide leadership, coordination, administrative support, long range planning and facilities development for Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, agricultural colleges, Alberta Vocational Centres, Community Vocational Centres and private vocational schools in Alberta.
The series contains institutional files for Alberta Vocational Centres in Calgary, Edmonton, Grouard, and Lac La Biche; as well as the Alberta Petroleum Industry Training Centre and Community Vocational Centres operated across Alberta. The files contain correspondence relating to the operation of these institutions. As well there is a small amount of correspondence on the Mackenzie North Proposal.
