| SCOPE AND CONTENT: | The series consists of records from the Alberta Career Development Centres. These Centres provide programs and services to assist adult Albertans in the process of career planning. Operations include counselling, interest and aptitude testing, referrals for education, training and student support services, workshops, consultations and orientations.
This series contains client case files from various career centres throughout Alberta. The files contain identifying personal information, counselling notes, testing results, training allowance information and other information used to assist clients with career counselling.
The series also contains several surveys of the labour force and employment opportunities in Alberta.
The Provincial Archives selected all these files as samples of the operations of the program.
