| SCOPE AND CONTENT: | The series contains records maintained by the Occupational Services Branch regarding human rights issues. Included are meeting records of the Human Rights Interdepartmental Standing Committee, which the Department had representation on, as well as subject files on a range of human rights topics including women's rights, equal pay for equal work, civil and political rights, labour relations, racial discrimination, disabled rights, native issues, inequality at work, human rights legislation for Albertans, and the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
