| SCOPE AND CONTENT: | The series consists of records from the Career Development Sector, whose mandate was to contribute to human and economic growth by assisting Albertans to improve the pattern and quality of career transitions between school, training, work and retirement. A range of programs and services were offered through career counselling, career resources and special manpower programs.
The series consists of task force and working group records from the unit for the Task Force on Employment and Job Preparation, the Task Force on School Counselling and Guidance, and an interprovincial working group on youth employment.
These records were sampled by the Provincial Archives as evidence of the operations of the Career Development Sector.
