| SCOPE AND CONTENT: | The series consists of records that document the Real Estate Program's mandate to ensure that people who worked in the fields of real estate and mortgage brokerage were licensed and bonded, and that where required, complaints against licensees were investigated. The records include: real estate agent licensing files; surety bonds filed by real estate agents; files on out-of-province real estate sold through Alberta agencies, which includes: affidavits, declarations, contracts, bonds, financial statements, reports and orders; mortgage broker investigation files; and mortgage broker licensing files which may contain applications, complaints, financial statements and correspondence. |
