| SCOPE AND CONTENT: | The series consists of an index register of students enrolled at Calgary Normal School, as well as negatives of some of the register pages. The mandate of the Calgary Normal School was to provide a teacher training program for individuals wanting to be trained as teachers.
The register documents students for the time period, providing the student’s name, age, address, religion, qualifications, grades achieved, course times, and remarks.
The negatives in the series were created by the Provincial Archives of Alberta. These are duplicates of select register pages only, and not of the entire register. Researchers should, therefore, use the register itself for research purposes.
