| SCOPE AND CONTENT: | The series consists of samples of case files from the Educational Opportunities Fund program. This program’s mandate was to provide cost-effective funding for educational programs and projects for school boards in three key areas: the elementary component was to upgrade basic and auxiliary skills; the junior high component was to provide alternate educational activities for students at risk of leaving school early; and the compensatory component was for educational programming for disadvantaged students in selected areas of the Province.
These case files contain project documentation for each case, and may include correspondence, application forms, project summaries, budgets, and final reports.
