Series consists of records produced by medical professionals pertaining to the Poison Control Program in Alberta. This program monitored and recorded the types and incidents of poisonings and maintained liaison with Poison Information Centres administered by the University of Alberta and Calgary General Hospital. Series also consists of records pertaining to the provision of specialized consulting services relating to health issues of young children; the administration of the Phenylketonuria, Cystic Fibrosis and Rheumatic Fever treatment programs; and the administration of the Poison Control Program.
