SCOPE AND CONTENT: | The series consists of records from Executive Offices of the Alberta Research Council. The series contains primarily business development records documenting various projects of the Council. Business development means the Council's efforts to market itself, including exploiting technical and marketing strengths, identifying opportunities for sales of its services, networking in the industry, exploring research and development opportunities, trend analysis, and development of strategic marketing plans. The files document individual projects undertaken by the Council on its behalf. Files includes policy, procedures, standards, guidelines and reports.
The series also contains records documenting general research and development projects of the Council.
The series also contains records containing general information about intellectual property issues and activities for the Council. The records specifically relate to copyright issues of products and projects.
