| SCOPE AND CONTENT: | The series consists of records from the Special Placement Program, which was an Alberta Government placement program intended to help disabled people obtain suitable employment in the Government of Alberta. Disabilities included mental, physical, emotional and age barriers. The files contain application forms, correspondence, interview notes, follow-up documentation and notes to file. The files document successful temporary or permanent placements, and individuals rejected for participation in the program. |
