| SCOPE AND CONTENT: | Series consists of records from the Child Welfare Branch of the Department of Social Services and Community Health documenting the provision of adult guardianship services. The series contains specimens of case files dealing with individuals considered to be permanent wards of the Crown who have reached the age of majority and have had their wardship terminated. Records may include copies of orders of delivery signed by the Justice of the Peace and/or the Superintendent of Neglected and Dependent Children; registry cards; information on foster homes; and correspondence. |
