| SCOPE AND CONTENT: | Series consists of records from the Department of Social Services and Community Health documenting the department's responsibility for providing social services throughout Alberta. The Social Services Division operated forty district offices in the province that delivered social allowance, child welfare, and maintenance and recovery programs. District office staff provided all of the services included in these programs and were deployed as the demand for specific services shifted and grew. The series consists of the records from the High Prairie District Office and includes records pertaining to administrators' meetings, staff meetings, and office equipment. |
