The Commission was made up of Justice Albert Ewing, Dr. Edward Braithwaite, Mr. James Douglas, and Mr. T.C. Rankine. Also known as the Ewing Commission, so named after the chairman Justice Ewing, the Commission opened its proceedings in Edmonton, Alberta on February 25, 1935.
