SCOPE AND CONTENT: Series consists of Department of Social Services and Community Health records documenting the department's responsibility for providing social services programs in the province. The Department operated about forty district offices throughout the province to deliver social allowance, child welfare, income security, family maintenance, court services and maintenance and recovery programs. District office staff provided all of the services included in these programs as the demand for specific services required. The series consists of native band lists from the Rocky Mountain House District Office.
