| SCOPE AND CONTENT: | The subseries consists of files documenting searches conducted by the Land Titles Offices regarding mineral rights. The searches determine the previous dispositions of mineral rights prior to the Office issuing a new certificate of title. The files contain correspondence between the Registrar of the Land Titles Office and legal firms as well as documents related to searches, such as caveats, certificates of title, mineral certificates, land surveys and plans, and transfer of land documents. The files may also contain copies of court records such as Submissions, Petitions, Affidavits and Judgments. |
