| SCOPE AND CONTENT: | The subseries consists of case files, procedure books (1887-1898), and an index to plaintiffs (1887-1904) pertaining to the civil cases heard by the Supreme Court of the Northwest Territories, based in Calgary. The files may contain statements of claim, counterclaims, judgments, orders, correspondence and other related legal documents. The series also includes civil cases heard by Calgary judges travelling to Carstairs, Didsbury, Gleichen, High River, Medicine Hat, Olds, Okotoks and Red Deer. |
