| SCOPE AND CONTENT: | The series consists of records created by the Office of the Clerk for the Judicial District of Calgary. The records include clerk’s oaths of office (1887-1889); fee books, cash books, suitor’s account ledgers, receipt books and other accounting records for the Supreme Court of the Northwest Territories, the Supreme Court of Alberta and the District Court of Alberta (1885-1970); index ledgers for writs issued by the courts; postage accounts (1915-1948); staff attendance ledger (1915-1919); and ledgers pertaining to the transfers and receipts of case files and court exhibits. |
