| SCOPE AND CONTENT: | The subseries consists of information and complaints filed with the Magistrates Court in Edmonton. The files contain documents known as “information” or “complaints” pertaining to alleged criminal activities, as well as annotations of the justice of the peace or police magistrate pertaining to the result of the trial. The files may also include information pertaining to warrants as well as committals to prisons or jails. |
| GENERAL NOTE: | The bulk of the records are contained within Accession GR2003.0115 (1925-1963). The PAA does not hold records from 1964-1968. The remaining records contained in Accession GR1980.0307 consist of one specimen complaint each from 1969 and 1970. |
