| SCOPE AND CONTENT: | The subseries consists of probate and surrogate files of the District Court of Alberta held at Taber pertaining to the administration and distribution of the estates of deceased persons in the Taber area. The files may contain wills; applications for and grants of letters probate; orders pertaining to the administration of estates; financial records and summaries of costs related to the settlement of the estate; petitions and orders to pass accounts; affidavits of value and relationship; and returns of grant. These files may also contain copies of duplicate certificates of Title of Land and Mines and Mineral Rights. .
