Macleod (1836-1894), a stipendiary magistrate and judge of the Supreme Court of the Northwest Territories. The notebooks and index comprise his personal notes regarding the cases over which he presided. The series also includes a notebook used by his daughter Helen Macleod for class notes on literature, geography, and spelling.|
