SCOPE AND CONTENT: | The series consists of correspondence, statements, and reports regarding the financial management of the Alberta Provincial Police (APP), including its headquarters and divisions. The records include accounts payable, cash books, contingent accounts, correspondence, estimates and correspondence pertaining to revenue and expenditure, lists of contingent vouchers, policies on financial management, statements of expenditure and trial balance, and vouchers for payment. The series also comprises accounts pertaining to clothing, the Commissioner’s office, fine payments, game and trapping licenses, hospitals, income, capital expenditures, prisoners, sales of liquor and liquor permits, and supplies of furniture and other equipment. The series also contains records pertaining to the APP pension plan, including those of its Liquidation Commission. |
