| SCOPE AND CONTENT: | Series consists of recommendations by the Local Authorities Board and its predecessor to the Lieutenant Governor in Council, with respect to matters referred to the boards by him. The recommendations are related to the annexation of land to municipalities in Alberta and annexation of lands to City of Lloydminster (1965-1967). Series also includes recommendations related to the affairs of controlled local authorities, and applications by non-profit organizations for exemption from assessment and taxation, as well as reviews of approved applications. Records include appeals related to assessment, examination of school authority estimates and court of revision appeals. |
