| SCOPE AND CONTENT: | The series consists of records documenting the Alberta Bureau of Statistics function for gathering and distributing statistical data about the Province of Alberta. The series consists of survey and census files documenting the labour force in Alberta; censuses and other demographic information; and industries in the Province, predominantly the oil and gas industry. Much of the statistical data originated with Statistics Canada and was further analyzed by the Bureau. Included on the files are statistical tables and analysis, data compilation, profiles of communities, surveys of industries, correspondence, reports, and so on.
