| SCOPE AND CONTENT: | The series consists of files of the Native Secretariat in its role to coordinate the development of and access to government policies and / or programs affecting aboriginal peoples. The series includes case files pertaining to Aboriginal and Metis organizations and communities in Alberta, which contain minutes, reports, financial statements, agreements, position papers, and briefs. The series also includes information regarding the Agricultural Rehabilitation and Development Act (ARDA), youth, women, social planning, economics, recreation, development, the Northern Alberta Development Council, the justice system, workshops, conferences, cooperatives, employment, and other issues. |
