It also includes records created by predecessor branches within Public Works including: Engineering Branch (1905-1908); Architectural Branch (1907-1913); Building Construction Branch (1908-1913); Architectural and Building Construction Branch (1913-1916); Architectural Branch (1916-1924); Architectural and Buildings Maintenance Branch (1924-1951); Buildings Branch (1951-1960); Architecture Branch (1960-1966); Construction Branch (1960-1966); and Works and Maintenance Branch (1960-1966). It consists of architectural blueprints, plans and specifications of public buildings; tenders, leases and contracts concerning the construction and design of public buildings; and operational records from the branch. |
