| HISTORY/BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH: | In addition to the annual Strauss Ball, the Johann Strauss Foundation organized recitals and other musical events to raise monies for scholarships or that featured scholarship recipients. The Johann Strauss Foundation also sponsored performances for local musical groups as well, well-known foreign performers, and they organized tours and recitals in Austria |
| CUSTODIAL HISTORY: | Secretary of the Johann Strauss Foundation, Anny Leeb, had the records in her custody before she donated the records to the Provincial Archives of Alberta. |
