Herbert Waller was born in Swanwick, England and his wife Jean was born in Ripley, England. Two years after arriving in Canada on June 24, 1923, Herbert and Jean’s son Herbert Robert Waller, commonly known as Robert, was born. The Wallers did not remain in Canada and at some point they returned to England. Herbert and Jean stayed in England while their son Robert, his wife and their daughter Yvonne Ellise lived in North Wales. Herbert Waller died in Warwickshire, England in May 1974. In November 1974 Robert Waller’s wife died after which he moved to England to care for his mother Jean. | SCOPE AND CONTENT: | Fonds consists of records of the Waller family pertaining to their time living in Dinant, Alberta and their visits to Michel, British Columbia.
