The series consists of Jean’s pottery notebooks and information about clay, ceramics, and pottery, along with notes and other information about the card game of bridge.

The series also consists of records relating to Jean’s school years, teacher training and professional teaching experience, including: a Sunday school memory course certificate (Knox United Church); a high school autograph book; report cards; diplomas and teacher’s certificates; school inspection reports; letters of recommendation; initiate certificate into women’s fraternity; and, a photo album with graduation portraits of her university friends.
