| HISTORY/BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH: | Farmers in the East Clover Bar area held a meeting on January 13, 1906 to organize a branch of the Alberta Farmers' Association. In 1909, this branch became Local Union No. 3 of the United Farmers of Alberta. |
| CUSTODIAL HISTORY: | Mrs. Frances L. Wise (PR1966.0042) and Mr. J.E. Cook (PR1974.0354) deposited the records in the Provincial Archives of Alberta in 1966 and 1974. Mr. J.E. Cook received these records from Mrs. Gordon I. Wilson. |
| SCOPE AND CONTENT: | The sous-fonds consists of the records of the East Clover Bar branch of the Alberta Farmers' Association, which became the East Clover Bar Local of the United Farmers of Alberta in 1909, and includes minutes, membership lists and accounts. |
