| HISTORY/BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH: | The Josephburg, Alberta area farmers formed a local of the United Farmers of Alberta. The farmers called themselves the Victoria Local, and were allocated local union number 500. On March 25, 1937, the local changed its name from Victoria to Josephburg. |
