The Chapter, number X-212, was established in 1945; its first meeting was held May 10th, 1945, where Elsie Japp was elected first president. | | SCOPE AND CONTENT: | The sous-fonds consists of records of Xi Alpha Chapter, and includes correspondence, agendas, minutes, attendance records, financial statements, accounting records, reports, Beta Sigma Phi pamphlets, booklets and histories, Beta Sigma Phi sheet music, programs, member profiles, photographs albums and scrapbooks, documenting the activities of the Chapter, which contain newspaper clippings, invitations, cards, programs, and other ephemera along with over 600 photographs of members and Chapter events.
