Jennifer attended Kindergarten at Glen Allan Elementary School in Sherwood Park. She attended grades 1-6 at Wes Hosford Elementary School; her Junior High Years were spent at F.R. Haythorne. At the age of 16, Jennifer moved out of her parent's house and moved in with her Uncle's family in Redwater, where she attended some of her high school years, but eventually dropped out. After that she moved to Edmonton, back to Redwater and then Christmas 2002, Jennifer moved back to her parent's home in Sherwood Park.
Jennifer had worked in a flower shop in Edmonton, in a restaurant in Redwater and was working as the assistant manager of a convenience store in Sherwood Park. Her interests were varied; she enjoyed painting, drawing, reading and watching movies. She also had a great love of plants and animals and had considered returning to school to study horticulture.
On December 10, 2003 Jennifer McCullough, 21, died in a car accident driving home from Brooks, Alberta. Steven Michael Clark, 23, of Breton, Alberta, was charged with impaired driving causing death, and the possession of a controlled substance.
| | SCOPE AND CONTENT: | The fonds consists of materials created or collected by Jennifer Leigh McCullough and created between 1983-2005. The fonds has been divided into the following series: Pre-school materials; School Records; Personal Documents; and Death and Court case materials. The Pre-school materials series includes stickers, photographs, artwork and other materials relating to Jennifer's McCullough pre-school education in 1986-1987. The School Records series consist of schoolwork, subject scribblers, orientation guides, artwork, poetry books and other materials relating to Jennifer McCullough's K-12 education. The Personal Records series includes artwork, correspondence to and from parents, journals, birthday and valentines cards, personal identification documents and other materials relating to the life of Jennifer McCullough. The Death and Court Case series includes court documents, condolence notes, scholarship information, photographs, newspaper clippings and other materials relating to the death of Jennifer McCullough and the subsequent court case of Steven Michael Clark. |
