The series consists of records related to Tom Radford’s work completed on contract for production companies or broadcasters other than Clearwater Media/Documentary, Great North Communications/Productions, or Great Plains Productions. There are also records related to contracted work undertaken by Radford for a variety of clients. The series also consists of records related to Radford’s independent filmmaking career. There are complete and incomplete projects for such production companies, broadcasters, and clients as CBC, White Pine Pictures, PBS, the Alberta Liberal Party, and others.

The projects include A Scattering of Seeds, Honour of the Crown, Ernest Brown: Pioneer Photographer, Ice Hockey in Harlem, The Making of a Champion, and End of Evolution among others. There is also a series of video recordings that are essentially oral history interviews with Wally McSween regarding his experiences as a bomber pilot in the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War.
