SCOPE AND CONTENT: Collection consists of copied photographs depicting various people, buildings, and views in Vegreville, Alberta and the surrounding areas, including log cabins, farming and farm houses, street views, buildings, businesses, agricultural machinery, carriages and carts, livestock, churches, hospitals, houses, residents of boys’ homes, schools and school children, automobiles, barns, sports teams, nurses and nurses residences, Boy Scouts, sleighs and sleds, and railroads. The images date from the early 1900’s to the early 1970’s, predominantly from 1902-1955. Collection also includes a copied newspaper clipping about St. Joseph’s Hospital circa 1961.
