The Institute's vision is that any francophone person living in Alberta should benefit from resources, programs and services in French that support a healthy and blossoming family life. The Institute's activities cover the whole province and the administrative council includes two members each for the northern, central and southern Alberta regions, and one member of the Lacombe family. The Institute provides programs on: parental skills; personal and spiritual growth; family health and financial planning; support for children with language and reading troubles, reintegration of French at home and for school dropouts. The services include lending educational resources, and reference and information material in French. The programs and services are offered in partnership with other independent Francophone resource centres already existing throughout the province.
