Irene McKinnon (nee Sharpe) lived in Summerside, Prince Edward Island. Her father, John Sharpe, died in 1906 and circa (ca.) 1907 McKinnon traveled across Canada and the United States of America, stopping for a time in Edmonton, Alberta. On June 29, 1911 she married James Angus McKinnon who was a businessman in Edmonton, Alberta and a Member of Parliament for Edmonton East, and together they had one daughter, Keltie. Irene McKinnon died in October 1944, survived by her husband who died in 1958. | CUSTODIAL HISTORY: | Mrs. Naomi Radford deposited these records in the Provincial Archives of Alberta in 1975 on behalf of Mrs. H.J. Richards.
